**The game in general / overall is pretty good.** Most optional fights come down to buff -> engage -> hope NPC doesn't crit flowchart. I lost a good 3-6 hours in that fucking house because once I hit the WH I literally could progress due to them killing my party within a few rounds, which was saying something considering the min/maxed multiclassed horrer that was my PC. I remember doing the math on them compared to their book counterparts and IIRC the rough CR of the encounters with them was in the mid twenties, when your party could be maybe 17 at that point in the game. I finished the game before they nerfed them so I lost track of how many mass heal and restore scrolls I used. I still wanna slap whatever dev/exec okayed that abomination. Game crashed halfway through the final boss and when I reloaded it put me at the start and I went 'Nope, not doing this' and proceeded to use the cheat menu to just kill everything until I got back to where I was at.Īnd the Wild Hunt.
